    Mine entrance at the Vancouver Island Gold Mine, Mineral Hill, China Creek. There are wooden beams on the sides and the top of the entrance, with a pick and shovel sitting outside on the right. The surrounding area is a dirt hillside with a few bushes visible on the bottom right. Ed Lyons, geologist with Westmin Mines Co, identified this view as being of the Mac Adit (he took copies of the photos to the mine in 1988 for identification).
