Description |
This is a black and white original print of seven men, four in business suits and overcoats, three in working clothes. Three of the men are standing on railroad tracks in front of what appears to be a speeder. The other four are standing on the left side of the tracks. There are two barrels in the left foreground and trees in the background. Identified are J.H. Bloedel (4th from the left), Gen, Jack Stewart and Patrick Welch (6th and 7th from the left). The photo image has a white border. On the back of the print the number 1 is stamped in blue ink on the bottom right corner and the number 63 is written in pencil on the bottom right corner. |
History |
Donor says these may be M & B brass. This exact photo is in the MacMillan & Bloedel forestry/logging file on page 6 of the Somass 1989 booklet. PN07428-517 are 90 black and white photographs of logging Franklin Division and Great Central Lake. All the photos were a collection of Glen Chatwin (donor's father). |
