Description |
A sepia toned photograph looking down a dirt road which goes from the right into centre view. Halfway down the road, two men are walking towards the camera. Behind them is another person who is not quite visible. To the right of the men is a tall alder tree and a two storey wooden building (the Armour Hotel) with a fence. At the end of the road is a body of water (Alberni Inlet) and a mountain range (Arbutus Ridge) on the opposite shoreline. On the back of the photograph written in pencil is Argyle St. 1896. Along the back edges are strips of black paper. |
