This is a black and white original print of two men wearing hard hats and cutting down a tree with a two-man power saw in a forested area. An undercut can be seen on the right side of the tree. The photo image has a white border. This back of the print has the number 68 written in pencil on the bottom right corner. |
History |
Early two-man power saws weighed up to 140 pounds. Note the hard hats. Franklin Division was considered fairly safety conscious. PN07428-517 are 90 black and white photographs of logging Franklin Division and Great Central Lake. All the photos were a collection of Glen Chatwin (donor's father). |
