Description |
A photograph of Argyle Street looking down towards the water. On the right there are buildings and three signs can be read. Starting near the top of the street is C.BISHOP & SON; LEDERMAN; and RESTAURANT. On the left side of the street is a large white building and another building further down the street. There are telephone and or power poles on both sides of the street and sidewalks. On the left there are bushes. At the bottom of the street is a building which is on the waterfront. Across the water is a densely treed mountain range. The top border is hard to make out as the colour blends in with the picture. On the back written in pencil is ARGYLE ST. and stamped in black ink (upside down) is JOSEPH CLEGG, ART DEPOT Photography-Picture framing PORT ALBERNI, B.C. Phone 19. |
