Description Front view of the "S.S. Tatjana" shipwrecked on Effingham Island in the Barclay Sound. The "Tatjana" was a Norwegian cargo freighter which was stranded in the Barclay sound after missing the Straight of Juan de Fuca in bad weather. It was in ballast from Murran, Japan, to Vancouver to load lumber. After several months, the freighter was refloated and rebuilt in 1925. For additional information, see PN 06419. "192" is pencilled on back of photo.
